Pandemic in the prisons

The case of the Bridgewater Treatment Center

A webinar with Bill Cananvan and William Stevens, staff of the Boston Release Network

Monday, June 8 @ 7pm.

The information you need to join this webinar via zoom will be sent via email after you register.

The Boston release network has been very active since the coronavirus hit Massachusetts hard in March. Members of the network have been assisting those released from the treatment center because of virus spread. They have been helping to place these men into various places of residence, a very complicated and difficult process. In the process they have made important connections with state and Boston agencies. Hear about their work and hear about the emergency created by the spread of the coronavirus into the prisons. And hear about how the Department of Corrections has been handling this emergency.
